Al-Kata'ib Media presents: This (Message) is a Notification For the People

This 17 page document issued by the media arm of the al-Shabaab group on 17 June 2013 and uses the Qu'ran and Ahadith to demand loyalty and threaten punishment on members of the group who may dissent or even seek to overthrow leadership of Ahmed Abdi Godane . The statement rebukes those members of al-Shabaab such as Omar Shafik Hammami (aka Abu Mansour al-Amriki) and Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys who have offered criticism of the leadership as well as the tactics and strategic orientation of the group.
